FAA is not honest at all, I would not trust their certification - Safety will likely take a back seat and other considerations would prevail. 737 Max is not the only aircraft that Boeing attempted to keep flying (with the help of FAA) despite the safety issue. There is the 787 Dreamliner with several scary reports (Al Zazeera and others) on how assembly lines were managed by inexperienced people and with sub-standard materials. Reporters were stopped from asking questions at the interview. The email leak, the workers commenting on hidden camera that they would not fly on those junk! Those machines are still flying!

I am continously warning about 737 max flight.suddenly today morning it strike my mind after seeing a plane taking steap curve. What happen if 737 max happen to land in table top run way.one in hundred chance that it has to take steap curve to avoid collision in mountain.During that time if the plane is stalled ,then Awac will make nose down for a moment.so collision in mountain is unavoidable. use this plane service only for plain landing and no near by table top runways.

Boeing was once a great company. Brilliant engineers designing and building extraordinary machines that we all have 100% confidence in. That was the basis of a massive and profitable industry. Then along came Reaganomics, Neoliberalism, private equity, hedge funds and vulture capitalists, accountants and investment bankers and share buybacks.

I would not sit in one of these plane. The entire plane is a sham. Even if they "fix" their MCAS who knows what kind of quick fixes this plane is hiding. The computers should assist the pilot flying not the other way around. Similar thing happened in Sweden when they put in a ATR system to the SAS MD 81 without pilots knowledge. That plane could have easily been saved with a lower thrust.

We, the flying public, can help to hopefully eliminate the future catastrophic problems that will exist with the Boeing 737 MAX Death aircraft by boycotting the airlines that will be using this aircraft in the future. The MCAS has to be eliminated from this aircraft, which, so far, still remains in the updated & recently FAA-approved flight control system of this aircraft...100% pure stupidity.

Can Boeing make such changes so the Max is truly like its predecessor so no simulator training is needed? That means some hardware changes they apparently skipped relying only on software patch MCAS? Expensive, no question, but cost is now of secondary importance as the company existence is at stake. Once done and certified - just hop in and fly 😎

Customers are not the only ones that can VETO the MAX .. Airlines have liability insurance from hundreds of different insurers all over the world. If insurers won't underwrite the MAX or demand 4/5 times premiums; with the no training savings is already gone, the fuel savings (cost) will be swamped by increased insurance costs (not a capital cost, but an operating cost) .. what advantage to the MAX is left (rather flying the NG)? This is a box (Boeing built with its hubris) that has no way out. Boeing has a good alternative to the MAX (the 737NG Type Certification intact) to make and sell (hottest plane on the used market) .. Airbus wins this one, but both Airbus and Boeing need a 21st century replacement to A320/737 .. competition still goes on! Put the MAX in the rearview mirror. #MAXtoetags

Boeing has lost its way, it used to care about legacy and integrity but now it just works to appease Wall Street. Boeing’s decision making isn’t left by the engineers like it was 2+ decades ago but now by the accountants and financial gurus who only care about cost cutting and quick production, when airbus released their new plane Boeing panicked and rushed engineers. This has been a long time coming; Boeing has made great effort to lay-off older experienced (but higher paid) engineers and machinists so they can replace them with cheaper younger inexperienced workers, they have been digging their grave for years

I avoid flying unless there's no other option anyway, given that in Europe one can pretty readily rely on international trains and enjoy not having to piss about with baggage limits as much and the ability to wander repeatedly to the buffet car... but If I do have to fly after the 737 MAX goes back into service I'll be actively avoiding it, especially if it's recently after they go live again! I'll stick to EasyJet, who currently operate exclusively Airbus aircraft.

If some thing effects one sensor it can also effect the other, So if both sensors are stuck in the High AOA position, What do the Pilots face,???????? I hope this is addressed. And if MCAS operates once how is it armed again to prevent a nose up stall. Pilots need to train at the GyM so they can whine those trim wheels real fast.

FAA is practically run by Boeing so getting the go-ahead shouldn't be a problem. The problem is Boeing planes are not built by Boeing anymore they are just assembled by them with cheap non-union labour. They are built by different companies all over the world. So next time there is an accident you know the reason.

What I really didn't like about the Max debacle was that Boeing didn't take responsibility, like they would have in the 1960s and 70s. Instead, they immediately blamed the pilots and only came clean when ANOTHER plane full of people crashed in the same circumstances. Companies are garbage nowadays: They act like your friend and really want to make the customer happy (giving the customer a good "experience" -that overused fckn word) in every little detail... BEFORE THE SALE. Then, AFTER the sale has been made, it's "Too bad, you're locked in. Talk to my fckn lawyer, bitch...we're not taking responsibility until YOU, the customer, can prove us responsible for this acci... oh, shit 'nother plane just crashed. (well okay it's a fair cop)." Boeing NEEDS to pay for this. Notice how there is NO accountability. If you killed 346 people, would YOU get away with no prison time at all?

The Max will be back. Its tragic that people had to die. This isn't the first time new tech in a aircraft had caused fatalities. I think its more wanting Boeing to fail than anything else. I fly private and was at an airshow in France in 2019. Several people that spoke loud enough to be heard hoped that another Boeing Airplane met the same fate. I was shocked. These were commercial pilots wishing for aircraft to crash so AIrbus would win. I told them in their language i was reporting them to their company
